SUNDAY EUCHARIST
The Reverend Matthew P. Idicula and members of St. Clement's Episcopal Church are overjoyed to welcome you, in the name of Our Lord. St. Clement's has been serving Episcopalians in Harvey and the South Suburbs since 1898. Our membership is small, reflecting the Episcopal denomination's traditional size nationwide and current trends affecting other religious bodies globally. Nevertheless, we are a close-knit family in service Our Lord, the Chicago Diocese and community.
We serve Our Lord by congregating each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to worship, praise and acknowledge Him as the Guiding Light in our lives and the world. WE serve the diocese as loyal members who participate fully in its affairs. We serve our community by responding to Our Lord's call to "feed my sheep in body and spirit" by conducting a weekly food distribution for those in need, from our pantry on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The food is supplied by the Chicago Food Bank, to which we belong.
Our congregation is progressive, providing religious faith and succor to brethren regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, national origin, or social status. As a visitor, you are probably seeking a religious home. We hope your experience at our church is positive and compatible with your values. Our pastor tries diligently and humbly, with Our Lord's guidance, to present scriptural messages in keeping with His teachings. We hope you find the strength and solace needed to cope in today's turbulent world. If that is the case, we'd be glad to welcome you to the St. Clement's Family in Christ.
